Hunting is under assault every day at the state and local level. Often, SCI is the only organization commenting on proposed legislation and regulations, covering everything from rabbits to rhinos. SCI engages at every opportunity because state level policy decisions have a real and immediate impact on our members. We are willing partners and proactive members of the conservation community, working to advance SCI’s mission of being First For Hunters.
Safari Club International Foundation (SCIF) has a 20-year history of being a leader in science-based, research-driven solutions to real problems facing wildlife conservation and sustainable use of wildlife resources. We partner with leading wildlife researchers at places like Franke College of Forestry and Conservation at the University of Montana.
Our Mission
We are a 501(c)4 organization. The Western Montana Chapter of SCI has funded wildlife conservation, hunter education and youth programs for over 15 years. It's through your generous support and donations that we're able to continue our work. Our focus is aimed at hunters’ rights and wildlife conservation here in Montana.
